Golden Hour Magic: A Mommy & Me Session with Their Pup
There’s just something magical about golden hour, when the sun dips low and bathes everything in warm, golden light. And when you pair that dreamy glow with the love between a mama and her little one (plus their sweet pup!), you get pure photography magic.
This Mommy and Me session was one of those evenings I didn’t want to end. The weather was perfect, the fields were glowing, and the connection between these three was so natural and joyful. From snuggles and giggles to pup kisses and playful twirls, every moment felt effortless and full of heart.
We let the session flow naturally, pausing when we needed a break, chasing light, and letting their dog explore and join in for cuddles and candid moments. It’s always my goal to capture families just as they are, and this one made it so easy with their warmth and laughter.
I’m a big believer that dogs are part of the family too, and this one was such a gentle presence—loyally staying close and sneaking into a few frames that quickly became favorites. (If you’re wondering—yes, your pup is always welcome in your session!)
